Over summer vacation 2009, five college students from the United States spent the summer volunteering with villagers at the LOHO Community of Daping Mountain. They're tasks included holding summer school classes with environmental, cultural and English language focus, learning about the LOHO model and translating Global Village materials, and lending a hand in many other village activities as the transition to organic production went into it's next phase of development. Below are photos taken by the volunteers over the summer. If you prefer, you can see the public album on Picasa web albums as well.
